Abstract (EN)
Inherited Thrombophilia as a possible risk factor for the Unexplained InfertilityPurpose: The purpose of this study is examining the inherited thrombophilia results then comparing between women who affected by unexplained infertility and planned for invitro fertilization-intracytoplasmic sperm-enjection/embrio transfer treatment and fertil women who had given a birth, under the age of 45 without a history of thrombosis and also discussing about the inherited thrombophilias are cause for infertility or not.As per latest researches; inherited thrombophilias are risk factors for recurrent implantation failure, recurrent miscarriages and unsuccessful invitro fertilization treatment, raising the question of whether this risk is related to the underlying cause of unexplained infertility or to the mechanisms involved in the implantation process and might to be useful for early diagnosis and treatment.Building upon subjected datas, we planned to evaluate the availability of inherited thrombophilia parameters for patients who are under the invitro fertilization treatment because of unexplained infertility. So, we evaluated the inherited thrombophilia parameters in terms of the credibility for unexplained sterility.Materials and Methods: From all patients and the control group; 2 cc of venous blood taken in the ethylenediaminetetraaceticacid tubes at Çukurova University Medical Faculty Balcalı Hospital on the department of Internal Medicine Hematology Laboratory, and studied with Magna Pur LC device by polymerase chain reaction technique for Methilentetrahydrofolatereductase C677T mutation, Factor V Leiden mutation and Prothrombin G20210A mutation assay kits; and for D-dimer, 4 cc of venous blood taken to the coagulation tube without delay at the Hematology Laboratory of Cukurova University Medical Faculty Hospital on the department of Internal Medicine and studied by using COAG MDA Auto-Dimer kit and MDA II device .The obtained results were evaluated with SPSS 19 .0 program by using Pearson Chi-square ve Fishers Exact Test and Students-t Test. P<0,05 value was accepted statistical significant. Conclusion: There are still many uncertain spots for etiopathogenesis of unexplained infertility. As a result of this study, the relationships between the etiopathogenesis of unexplained infertility and Factor V Leiden, Factor II G20210A, Methilentetrahydrofolatereductase C677T mutations and D-dimer results are not statistical significant and uncertain for treatment. So to use these parameters clinical we need larger studies which include more patients and control groups .Keywords: Inherited Thrombophilia, Unexplained Infertility
