Abstract (EN)
This study is an ethnobotanical study carried out in Adaklı (Bingöl) region between 2021-2023. It was revealed that the plant materials used by the people of the district in the research region were used for food, medicine, fuel, fodder, broom, etc. purposes. In the research conducted in Adaklı region, 150 plant materials belonging to 42 families and 125 genera were collected. Among the collected plant taxa, 89 plants were used for food, 7 plants for fodder, 104 plants for medicinal, 3 plants for fuel, 1 plant for axe making, 2 plants for broom making, 1 plant for ornamental purposes, 2 plants for dye making and 1 plant for industry. Families according to the number of plants they contain; Acanthacea 1, Amaranthaceae 4, Amaryllidaceae 2, Anacardiaceae 2, Apiaceae 7, Apocynaceae 1, Araceae 1, Asteraceae 20, Betulaceae 1, Boraginaceae 5, Brassicaceae 8, Campanulaceae 3, Carpyophyllaceae 3, Colchicaceae 1, Convolvulaceae 1, Cucurbitaceae 4, Elaeagnaceae 1, Euphorbiaceae 1, Equisetaceae 1, Fabaceae 11, Fagaceae 1, Hypericaceae 2, Iridaceae 2, Juglandaceae 1, Lamiaceae 11, Malvaceae 3, Moraceae 3, Orchidaceae 2, Papaveraceae 1, Plantaginaceae 3, Poaceae 4, Polygonaceae 6, Portulacaceae 1, Rosaceae 18, Salicaceae 3, Simarubaceae 1, Solanaceae 5, Typhaceae 1, Urticaceae 1, Vitaceae 1, Xanthorrhoeaceae 1, and Zygophyllaceae 1 each
