Abstract (EN)

This study was conducted to determine against to ALS inhibitor herbicide resistance problem on Wild oat (Avena sterilis L.) and Wild mustard (Sinapis arvensis L.) in wheat fields of Adana province. In this study, a total of 679 wheat fields was surveyed in Adana province in 2011-2012. During the survey, the nearest wheat fields were surveyed and the samples were collected according to weed density; Sterile wild oat (Avena sterilis L.), Wild mustard (Sinapis arvensis L.) by stopping every five kilometers. This samples were brought in laboratory, the seeds dormancy was broken and prepared for testing. To determine herbicide resistance, six different doses of Mesosulfuron-methyl + iodosulfuron-methyl- sodium and Pyroxsulam+cloquintocet-sodium (0, N/4, N/2, N=recommended dose, 2N, 4N, 8N) was applicated for quick tests; and four different doses (0, N=recommended dose, 2N, 4N, 8N) applicated for greenhouse experiments. Consequently, 90 Sterile wild oat and 22 Wild mustard populations were found resistantant against Pyroxsulam+cloquintocet-sodium. 37 Wild oat and 26 Wild mustard populations were determined resistant against to Mesosulfuron-methyl+iodosulfuron-methyl-sodium. According to results of this study, herbicide resistance maps of Adana province and districts were prepared.
