Agricultural production of Adana and promotion applications devoted to agriculture

Agricultural activities are the first economical activities of humanity, Agricultural sector differs from the other sectors with its economical, social, political and technical aspects and it has an indispensable importance. Agricultural sector has been maintaining its value on account of meeting the most basic need of human, nutrition directly and its providing the sources inclining the economical improvement which has become a mandatory goal for every society in our period for centuries.In our century, foodstults being in a strategic position and the difficulties in meeting nutrition needs of increasing world population have raised the importance of agricultural products. In this context for the amount of agricultural production and product diversity (variety) doing land planing by determining the capasity and the properties of the city soil occurs as an oblication.Owing to the importance of agricultural sector and the dependence of agricultural production to natural conditions, because of the reasons such as excessive production risk and uncertainty, agricultural sector has been supported and is stil being supported almost in all countries.To this end, agricultural production and promotions of Adana city has been selected as the subject of our study and the basic reasons of problems met in production area and appropriate investment fields have been determined.Keywords: Adana, Agricultural Development, European Union Common Agricultural Policy, Agricultural Production, Agricultural Incentives.
