Development of Web 2.0 tools introduction and user manuel for teachers according to the ADDIE design model

In this study, it was aimed to develop and prepare a guide that would make it easier for teachers to recognize and use Web 2.0 tools in line with teachers' opinions. In this study, Type 1 Design and Development Research method (DDR) was used. The resource named "Web 2.0 Tools Introduction and User Manual" was developed by applying the Analysis, Design, Development, Application and Evaluation stages of the ADDIE Model, which is a design model. In the Analysis phase, the literature about Web 2.0 tools was examined and also subject area, target audience, aim of the guide and limitations were determined. During the Design phase, general achievements, content and evaluation process were determined. A sample guide was prepared to consult expert opinions and the content presentation, cover and general features of the guide have been decided in this phase. During the Development phase, adjustments were made according to expert recommendations. After the task analysis for determining target behaviors, the text of the manuel was written. In the user manuel, the tools of "survey, animation, digital board, e-book, cartoon, poster-info graphics, exam, virtual classroom, presentation, video, website and mind map" were introduced. Information that facilitates the use of Web 2.0 tools (e-mail creation, cloud tools, Turkish translation in web browser, voice typing tools, Web 2.0 tools QR code list, dictionary for English words commonly used in web 2.0 tools) is included in the "Additional Information" section. After the manuel was written, expert opinions were received again and it was prepared for pre-implementation. Under the supervision of the researcher, the implementation activities for the Web 2.0 tools were pre-applied by reading the guide, and the identified deficiencies were eliminated, and then the manuel was prepared for the printing. During the implementation phase, the opinions of 15 teachers from different branches who work in Kırıkkale province were collected with semi-structured interview forms and content analysis was made. According to the content analysis results obtained after three different applications, the guide was updated and took its final form. During the evaluation phase, opinions regarding the usefulness of the guide were collected and the participants found the guide impressive, instructive and suitable for its purpose.
