Abstract (EN)
Different international standards have been established with the aim to determining wear behaviors of materials. In this study, a prototype wear test machine was designed and manufactured to determine the adhesive wear behaviors of metallic or polymer materials with different properties. In the study the wear test machine developed by pin on disc method. The machine is designed according to ASTM G99-17, DIN 50324 standards. The abrasive disk has a surface hardness of 62 HRC and a surface roughness of 1.6 W (Ra); 1.2379-X155CrVMo12-1 is cold work tool steel. The mass loss and friction coefficient were determined by the tests made with the sample produced from EN AC-43000 (A1Si10Mg) aluminum casting material. Considering the general mass losses under a load of 1,5; 2,5 and 3,5 kg, the samples respectively exposed to the least mass loss are 1 = 3 <5 <2 <4 <6.
