Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of different types of feedback (positive and negative) applied during a plyometric training process on perception and reaction time under various conditions in adolescent individuals. The study was conducted with a total of 24 adolescents, divided into two groups of 12 participants each. Both groups followed a standardized plyometric training program two times a week for eight weeks. Reaction times of the participants were measured using the Light Trainer reaction test before and after the training period. The results indicate that not only the content but also the timing of the feedback has a decisive effect on neurocognitive performance. In this context, it is thought that systematically planning the types of feedback used during training can play an important role in supporting the motor and cognitive performance of individuals, especially during developmental stages. This study makes an original contribution to the literature by addressing feedback applications in plyometric training not only from a physical perspective but also in terms of cognitive processes within the field of sports sciences.
