Abstract (EN)

In this study, the tactical skill levels of amateur young male footballers in different age categories were examined within the framework of their position and demographic characteristics. 477 footballers who play football in Adana Province, in the amateur super league U15 (N = 152), U17 (N = 175) and U19 (N = 150) for the 2019-2020 season, as voluntarily were participated in the study. In the study, the Tactical Skills in Sport Inventory consisting of 22 questions and questions for demographic information were used as data collection tools. While there is a strong similarity between the U15 and U19 groups in terms of tactical skills(attack & defence based) and the values obtained from the four sub-dimensions that make up this ability (p> 0.05), the U17 group has a partial decrease, whereas the U19 group is generally more likely than the U17 group. It was found that the change in the educational level of the father was more effective than the mother on the tactical skills performance, and the school type made a difference in favor of the sports high school students, especially in the U17 group (p <0.05).While the function of sports age was evident in the U15 group (p <0.05), it was found that this variable lost its effectiveness in the U17 and U19 age groups (p> 0.05). SPSS 22.0 package program was used in the analysis of the data. Besides the descriptive (percentage / frequency) statistics, it was decided to perform parametric or non-parametric tests, taking into account the homogeneity of the data and the number of data in the groups. The correlation between the data was investigated with the Pearson test, and the significance level in statistical results was accepted as p <0.05. As a result of the study, it was seen that tactical skill performance did not increase linearly with age, a certain decrease was experienced in the U17 group and a sufficient jump could not be made in the U19 group. The cognitive dimension that gets stronger gradually from childhood to adolescence, if fed with mental and practical training, taking into account the digital materials appropriate to the nature of the football play, It is thought that tactical skill ability will develop in a higher amount over a longer period of time. Key words: Adolesan, Ametur, Football, Tactial skill
