An investigation on ceremonies and transitional periods in Adiyaman Ağuiçen alevis

This thesis is a study on the basic concepts, beliefs, cem worship, sacrifice types, ceremonies and transitional periods under the title of İnceleme A Study on Beliefs, Ceremonies and Transition Periods in Adıyaman Augiçen Alevis. This study consists of information obtained as a result of compilation and investigations in the field. Our study consists of four chapters, including the introduction. In the introduction part, the importance and purpose of the study, Adıyaman Province and Alevism are given. In the second part, brief summaries about theses, books and articles about Alevism and Adıyaman which are the subject of our study are given. In the third part, information about the material and method of the study is given. In the fourth chapter, the findings and discussion part of our study are presented. In this section, basic belief concepts, ceremonies, holidays and transition periods are tried to be determined. In the conclusion part of the study, the results reached in the study were mentioned and a general evaluation was made. Key Words: Adiyaman, Alevism, Cem ceremony, Hz.
