RESTORATION OF THE MILITARY BUILDING IN ADIYAMAN (M.Sc. Thesis) Mehmet SA?IR GAZI UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF SIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY February 1999 ABSTRACT The subject of the thesis, is the Old Military Building situated in the center of Adıyaman province; It was build as military service department dated to late 19th century. In accordance with the aim to retain this cultural property to future generations without any loose in its documental character, the building is surveyed to identify the present situation a restitutional approach is provided by means of research and comperative study. As a result by the light of international principles a scientific restoration project is proposed.
