Abstract (EN)

In this study, skulls of eleven specimens of Nannospalax ehrenbergi collected from four different localities of Adıyaman province were studied morphologically. It was aimed to contribute to following studies by working on some characteristics used in taxonomical assessments and measurments of skull. Supracondyloid foramens, depression on nasal bones, two vertical ridge lines one upper incisors, the fact that the length of parietal bones is larger than the width and mandibulada sella externa is lower than sella interna and M1- 2- 3 teeth have 3 roots while M1- 2- 3 teeth have 2 roots were determined. When the findings of the study were compared with the previous studies, it was determined that the samples possess had the morphological characteristics of Nannospalax ehrenbergi and were in the region of the mentioned species.
