Abstract (EN)

Today, one of the biggest problems for the world and our country is energy. For this reason, energy should be used in the most efficient way. Most of the heating and cooling installations in Turkey are made with old technologies without energy and Exergy analysis. As a result of this, the demand for the energy purchased from outside is increasing and an economic burden is being placed on the country. In this study, Exergy and energy analysis of the heating line in the building of Adıyaman University Research and application Hospital was performed. Natural gas was used as fuel in the boiler. The hot water in the heating system is used to heat the space by means of fan-coill and to heat the desired places by means of the air conditioning plant. The boiler was operated at 75 °C in January. At different times, the boiler, air conditioning plant and fan-coill Inlet and outlet water temperatures were determined and the necessary calculations were made by finding their thermodynamic properties. As a result of the calculation, the average Exergy loss in the boiler was 43526,79 kw and the fan-coill was 953,73 KW at 2624,65 kW of the air conditioning plant. Similarly, the boiler efficiency was calculated as 75% and the fan-coill 88% of the air conditioning plant was calculated as 92%. The average loss in the boiler is 7116.86 kW as a result of energy analysis in the system. The air conditioning plant had 2624.65 kw and the fan-coill had 945 kW. The average boiler energy efficiency in the system was found to be 51.5%. The necessary improvement proposals have been presented according to the results obtained.
