Abstract (EN)
Many cultures live together in the geography of Anatolia. The Alevi Bektashi culture, which is among these cultures, is the subject of this study. This research presents the explanation of the Alevi Bektashi culture, its rituals, the definition of this culture according to the Adıyaman region, the tomb of Aziz Dede, who is seen as an important figure in the Adıyaman region, and the musical activities performed in the commemoration ceremonies of Aziz Dede in this tomb. Literature review and personal interview methods are used in this research. Document and record review were conducted to ensure a better understanding of the subject. The interviews were recorded as audio and video recordings within the framework of the necessary permissions. There is a form of worship in the Alevi society, this worship is called cem. The Alevi society takes certain elements into consideration when performing their worship. The person who performs the cem ceremony is called dede. Dedes perform the cem ceremonies in a certain order from beginning to end. There are twelve services in the cem tradition while performing these ceremonies. It is seen that the tradition of Zakir is also included in these twelve services. Zakirs are another important person in the Alevi society after the dedes. Zakirs are called people who play the bağlama in the cem ceremonies by developing themselves within the master-apprentice relationship. It is known that they continue the cem ceremonies in an orderly manner with the dedes. This study reveals the musical activities of famous Bards, Ashiks and Zakirs who participated in the commemoration ceremonies held in the name of Aziz Dede at the Aziz Dede tomb in the Adıyaman region. As a result of the interviews, the differences in the performance of five different folk songs in the Alevi culture in the Adıyaman region were revealed and their analysis was made and their own performance styles were notated. KeyWords: Culture, Zakir, Tomb, Riıtual.
