IV ABSTRACT Master Thesis BASIC EQUATION OF AEROACOUSTIC Filiz ÖZGEN Fırat University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Department of Mechanical Engineering 2000, Page: 1 04 Aeroacoustic is related to the distribution of sound through the fluid. The basic equations of aerodinamic noise theory is reviewed; the pressure, velocity and density listribution in the fluid are investigated by using these equations. These variations are considered to be small so the disturbances aren't diffused long distances. Main flow is assumed to be uniform and fluid incompressible. Hence the variations in he initial direction of disturbances (x) are noticable best. In this study basic equations of aeroacoustics are investigated to obtain the disturbance îquations. Then these equations are solved both numerically by using a finite-difference method and analitically. The results are shown graphically and it has been seen that the disturbances are demped wavely.
