Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, it is aimed to design a radial fan with aerodynamic blades. There are many fan systems in the literature. For this reason, firstly, a comprehensive literature study on fans was made and fan selection criteria were given, and then the effect of the blade structures changed in the radial fan design on the result was examined. For this purpose, different aerodynamic blade structures were analyzed and the results of speed, pressure, streamline and lift coefficient of each blade structure were given. NACA 0006 and EPPLER 421 blade structures were selected in line with the analyzed analyses. By using selected aerodynamic blade structures and fixed section blade structure, six different fan designs were modeled in CAD and made available for analysis. The analyzes were carried out by changing the blade structures and the positions of the blades in the impeller. Fan designs modeled using aerodynamic blade structures were analyzed and the results were compared. The aerodynamic bladed radial fan selected in line with the analyzes and the radial fan system with fixed cross-section blades were analyzed under different flow rates and fan performance curves were obtained and the effect of blade structure on performance was examined.
