Abstract (EN)

Five different syntheses were applied for the production of airgel, the necessary tests were carried out and the determined data were examined. According to the results obtained, it was determined that the densities of the produced aerogels were between 0.66 and 1.053 g/ml, and the thermal conductivity values were between 0.067 and 0.097 W/mK. It was determined that the increase in the concentration of TEOS and TMOS i n t he s ol-g.el during t he production stage increased t he densities o f t he aerogels and indirectly the thermal conductivity values. Due to the large internal volume of the reactor and the inability to fully control the temperature stages, the structural effects of different pressure- temperature transition processes have affected the approach to the targeted thermophysical properties. Factors such as the fact that the drying process is carried out under high pressure conditions such as 100 bar, the preparation process is long and tedious, and the high cost of the chemicals used limited the solution trials. It is thought that the insulation property of airgel, which is seen as an important insulation material of the future, can be improved if necessary supports are provided.
