Abstract (EN)

In our country, where earthquakes are frequent, it is very important to choose the location for the distribution center and to determine the routes of the vehicles to be able to prevent or prevent the problems to be experienced in a short time. In this study, the earthquake scenario prepared by AFAD was used. In the scenario, it was assumed that there was an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.4 in Sakarya at 14.48 in December. During the earthquake, the main purpose is to deliver the materials needed by the earthquake victims under winter conditions as soon as possible. It is also predicted that some roads were closed after the earthquake and transportation was disrupted. In determining the distribution center, Düzce warehouse has been accepted as the first solution alternative, since the materials to be distributed to earthquake victims are located in Duzce warehouse of AFAD. Apart from that, trials have been made for two suitable distribution centers. The aim of the study is to determine the appropriate distribution network for the province of Sakarya in case of an earthquake. For this purpose, determining the location of the distribution center and the most suitable vehicle routing functions were evaluated together.
