Özet (EN)

The frequent occurrence of high impact low probability events such as earthquakes, floods worldwide cause significant damage to power systems, power outages and adversely affecting the quality of life for end-users. In response to these challenges, Distributed Energy Resources (DER) and Electric Vehicles (EV), which have become increasingly prevalent, have recently become a focal point for supplying energy to residential consumers in the post-disaster period. However, the inability of grid-connected DER to generate energy during post-disaster, the limited energy of EV batteries aftermath of a disaster, causing the lack of energy and lower resilience level in houses. As a result, addressing these challenges through the synergistic interaction of houses with various resources can be seen as a potential solution. Therefore, in this thesis, a detailed Synergistic Home Energy Management System (S-HEMS) is developed to enhance energy resilience through the collaborative utilization of various resources owned by two houses that become electrically isolated from the grid and each other in a post-disaster. The Building-to-Vehicle-to-Building (V2B2) technology, enabling energy transfer between houses via EV, is integrated into the designed S HEMS. Additionally, the proposed algorithm aims to minimize the system discomfort in post-disaster while considering the well-being of households. The simulation results are confirmed that the proposed algorithm significantly increases the energy resilience by providing a mitigation in the discomfort of the system by at least 22.26%.
