Abstract (EN)

Disasters cause loss of life and property due to natural and unnatural reasons. Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) cases should be evaluated within the scope of the disaster with fatal results nominal. The spatial distribution is important in the analysis of these cases. Geographical Information System (GIS) is used in the field of disaster and health for detection and monitoring of diseases and disasters due to geography. The aim of this study was to analyze CCHF cases between 2004 and 2014 using CBS. The data obtained were transferred to GIS environment and case distribution maps were prepared. Thus, it is aimed to determine the risky regions and contribute to the necessary measures. Especially, regions under 2000 m altitude, barren areas, some parts of Torul, Köse and Central district and almost all Şiran and Kelkit districts were observed as risky regions. The findings were evaluated and recommendations were made for subsequent studies. Evaluation of case data with height, population and individual / region occupational group data can be listed as the main recommendations.
