Abstract (EN)
With the development of technology, it has become much easier and faster for people to organize and provide information flow within the framework of any event. The introduction of social media platforms into our lives has changed many things both positively and negatively. Individuals actively use social media not only in daily life, but also in extraordinary situations such as disasters, in order to receive fast, accurate, up-to-date information and to provide solidarity. Disaster victims and social media users follow media organizations, official institutions and non-governmental organizations to access accurate information. Individuals can access accurate, up-to-date and reliable information by following these institutions. However, during these processes, there is also intense information pollution on social media. In such processes, following official and reliable institutions is of critical importance in order to access accurate and reliable information. Official organizations have a big responsibility here. They have to help individuals stay calm and make the right decisions without causing them to panic. In this context, the role and importance of social media in disasters is great. In this study, Ahbap Association's With each user profile that emerged as a result of the research, the importance of the human factor that emerged in the face of problems occurring in social media during disasters and social responsibility communication was emphasized.
