Abstract (EN)

SUMMARYThere is deep relationship between Turkish and Afghan folks originating from the historical, social and cultural life. Both of the cauntries live in Asian geography. There is only one country between them which is İran. Because of this geographical condition, we can easily say that they are neighbours. For the last 200 years, the moin reason that brings these two countries close to each other is the similarity of these two nations who have been both forced under imperialism. During this period, Turkiye has been partially exploited and Afganistan, which is one part of India, has been completely exploited.During the first quarter of the last century, This powerful revolution wind brought Türkiye and Afganistan gained his freedom in 1919, he sterted his modernisation struggle by taking Turkish revoluation as a model. Unfartunately, the fundamantalist feudal structure of Afganistan slowed down this modernisation struggle. For a long term, Afghanistan kept his close relationship with Turkiye and he has been effected by Turkish cultural and educational life by blocking Afghanistan?s modernisotion struggle, are the external interferences.Against these recent trends in Afghanistan, Türkiye should come closer to Afghanistan and to other neighbour countries as well by referring back to his Kemalist external politics again.
