Afghanistan's foreign trade structure and analysis of foreign trade with Turkey

This study examines the foreign trade activities of Afghanistan and reveals the foreign trade relations between Afghanistan and Turkey. In the first part of the study, the economy of Afghanistan is explained in general. In the second part, Afghanistan's foreign trade and Afghanistan's relations with regional economic cooperation of which Afghanistan is a member are included. In the third part of the study, Afghanistan's exports of vegetables and food products to Turkey and Turkey's exports of machinery, electrical products, shoes, stones, glass, metals and various products to Afghanistan were econometric analyzed using quarterly data between 2009-2019. By using this data, Unit Root Test, VAR analysis, Impact Response analysis and Variance Decomposition analysis were performed. Key words: Foreign Trade, Econometric Analysis, Afghanistan and Turkey.
