Violence against women with cultural differences in poster design

The general purpose of this research is to examine violence against women with cultural differences through poster designs. In this research, domestic and foreign sources were scanned, and the question of what is "violence against women" was classified as items, regardless of any cultural differences. Domestic Violence, one of the items of violence against women, in terms of cultural differences in this classification has been discussed. In this research, violence against women was reflected in the poster designs used in France, Turkey and the African continent. A catalog study was carried out with five poster samples belonging to all three cultures, and the catalog was evaluated according to the imprint. Concepts in this tag, country, year, social responsibility campaign, agency, designer, size, type by use, form, technique used, color, typography, title/slogan, text, visual elements, visual hierarchy, verbal hierarchy, graphical analysis , is in the election. The poster designs chosen for three different cultures were analyzed by the researcher, taking into account different cultures. After this content analysis, three poster designs on violence against women prepared by the researcher were presented. Violence against women took place in the production process of posters with social content, which deal with the issues that need to be addressed, in the poster designs according to the different cultural perceptions of the target audience and socio-cultural people. Unlike these two cultures in Africa, similar campaigns were found in France and Turkey. Because, in African violence against women posters, the visual is more striking, the narrative role is loaded onto the visual and the text is placed in the background. Posters used in Africa do not use portraits to allow privacy for personification. But France and Turkey have shown the use of metaphors in writing, witty fiction and social cultural structure.
