Determination of plant parasictic nematodes in wheat prodcution areas in Afyonkarahisar province

Abstract (EN)

Wheat is considered a strategic product for many countries. It can cause many harmful economic crop losses in wheat conservatives. There are many plant parasitic nematodes that cause economic product losses in wheat cultivation. In this study, it was aimed to determine plant parasitic nematodes in wheat production areas of Afyonkarahisar province. Soil and root samples were taken from a total of 34 locations during the flowering and harvest periods of wheat from the wheat production areas of Bolvadin and Bayat districts of Afyonkarahisar province. As a result of the study, a total of 11 plant parasitic nematodes were detected. Obtained plant parasitic nematode species Tylenchina and Hoplolamina suborders of the Order Tylenchida, Tylenchoidea, Anguinoidea, Hoplolaimoidea, Aphelenchina and Tylenchida Superfamilies, Tylenchidae, Anguinidae, Hoplolaimidae, Pratylenchidae, Heteroderinae, subfamilies, Aphelenchus sp., Pratylenchoides sp., Quinisulcius sp., Filenchus spp., Ditylenchus spp., Helicotylenchus spp., Pratylenchus spp., Tylenchus sp., Zygotylenchus sp., Scutylenchus spp., Heterodera sp., In addition, Heterodera sp., and Pratylenchus sp., species were determined to have a population above the economic damage threshold.
