During the study; oropharyngeal inspection was including tonsil size, uvula and soft palate pathology existance; anterior rhinoscopy was including the presence of the septal deviation, inferior concha hypertrophy and the nature of the secretion in the nasal cavities; the ear examination was including the presence of auricle anomalies, preauricular anomalies, external ear canal pathologies and effusion in the tympanic cavity. The presence of congenital anomalies and masses was explored at the neck palpation and the results were recorded. The study results were evaluated by Ki-Square and Fishers Exact Test statistical analysis methods. In this study, between the children aging 3-6 years while the most frequent pathologies were detected as otitis media with effusion, rhinosinusitis and allergic rhinitis; conchal hypertrophy and septal deviations were found lesser. In this group of age, Grade-4 tonsil hypertrophy was detected as an important etiological factor in the children having history of snoring and obstructive apnea while sleeping. Age and nasal inflammatuar pathologies are important risk factors. In the etiology of the otitis media with effusion (OME) that are seen frequently among the preschool children. No significant relation was found between incidence devolopment of OME evolution the education and income status of the families, problem during the sleep and tobacco exposure. Tympanometry is an effective test in the diagnosis of OME. But we shouldn?t always wait to see Type-B tympanogram. Approximately 1% Type-A and 30% Type-C tympanogram can be obtained in the OME cases. There is significant correlation between OME incidence and bifid uvula. Bifid uvula is an important risk factor in the OME evolution. Bifid uvula, preauriculary skin-tag, cup ear, atresia of external ear canal, palatal cleft and tyroglossal duct cyst are the mainly congenital head and neck anomalies in the age of 3-6 years.
