The sociocultural evaluation of folk products in the district of Afyonkarahisar City's Çay and its neighborhood

In this master?s degree thesis which is named as ? The Sociocultural Evaluation of Folk Products İn The District Of Çay And İts Neighborhood? :As a result of choosing and gathering the texts and information about the products of folk arts, folk architecture, folk dances, folk müsic, folk literature, customs and traditions which are turning points in life such as (birth, ritual, circumcision, marriage, and death) folk medicine, folk economiy, folk theatre, bayrams and ceremonies, folk beliefs folk cuisine etc.in the district of Çay and its neighborhood in Afyonkarahisar and the stages they underwent up to now and their sociocultural situation are deeply evaluated.İn order to stengthen the cultural values, many countries and nations, try to collect folk cultural products and therefore, they help to the national culture and civilization. Moveover, in the studies, they managed to do so.İn this thesis, the main aim is to add the data which is collected around the district of Çay in Afyonkarahisar through social and cultural examination to the abstract cultural inheritance.The cultural characteristics, life style, dressing attitudes etc. of Anatolian people are avaiable in the characteristics of people living in the.in the district of Çay because of the geographical location Afyonkarahisar and Çay. Therefore, folk culture and folk science products of the district Çay gain importance. Moreover, this region has an authentic construction due to its nan-urbanal characteristics. There still cannot be seen a dstinctive change in the life style, dressing, economiy, social and cultural traditions and literature of the people in this region.
