Abstract (EN)
In this study; we tried to determine outdoor air microfungi flora of Afyonkarahisar district by using air idealsampler. In this research 2400 fungal colonies were isolated from 216 samples which were taken monthly fromsix different areas of Afyonkarahisar air between July-November 2005. 32 different microfungi species, varietiesand 287 sterile microfungi colonies were found in consequence of these fungal colonies identification.Penicillium (%35.83) was found the most frequent genus in fungal concentration during six months. This wasfollowed by Cladosporium (%24.54), Alternaria (%13.08), sterile koloni (%11.96), Aspergillus (%8.88),Ulocladium (%6.63), Drechslera (%0.58), Rhizopus (%0.46), Polyscytalum (%0.09) respectively. Cladosporiumcladosporioides, Alternaria alternata and Penicillium simplicissimum were found to be the most commonspecies. Polyscytalum berkeleyi was found the rare species. We found the highest fungal concentration inSahipata location and the lowest one in Afyon Kocatepe University location among our stations. While thehighest fungal concentration was found in September, the lowest fungal concentration was found in October.Key words: Airborne fungi, bioaerosols, meteorogical factors, Afyonkarahisar.
