Özet (EN)
The formation of deposit and corrosion, which was formed depending on the chemical composition of the geothermal fluid, is one of the most serious problems at the geothermal systems. In this study, maleic anhidrit (C4H2O3) 1,3-benzendisulfonic acid di sodium salt (C6H4Na2O6S2), pentasodium triphosphat (Na5P3O10) were carried out as corrosion inhibitor in order to prevent corrosion and scale of Afyonkarahisar?s Geothermal Heating System. 60oC, 25oC and 85oC, which were the temperatures of geothermal fluid, were choiced as studying temperatures. The inhibitor concentrations were choiced as 10-1, 10-2,10-3 and 10-4 M. According to experimental results as inhibitor concentration decreases, % inhibition increases. This show that corrosion decreases in system. The fact that corrosion potential shifts to more positive potential as a result of addition of inhibitor shows that these inhibitors effected as anodic inhibitor. The level of pH, potential, conductivity, total hardness and CaCO3 , dissolved solid substance (TDS) and salt were analyzed before the adding inhibitor into geothermal fluid and after the addition of inhibitor into it. According to these analyses, increasing pH level more than 7 indicates that constructive aggressive ions (H+ ) decrease. And also it shows that as the shifting of potential values to more positive potentials as a result of inhibitor concretion, inhibitors effected as anodic inhibitor. Furthermore the decreasing of conductivity values as a result of the decreasing of inhibitor concretion shows that corrosion slows down. Water samples that are taken off Afyonkarahisar Geothermal Heating System are measured pH,total dissolved solid matter (TDS), total hardness. Ryznar and Langelier Indexes are calculated as a result of these measurements. The values of index show that geothermal fluid is corrosive and scale properties. The results of XRD analysis shows that there has been the deposit of CaCO3 in geothermal heating system. Images of SEM-EDX and metal microscopy were showed that inhibitors prevented corrosion and scale formation are forming a film on surface.Key Words : Geothermal fluid, scale, corrosion, inhibitor, index
