Abstract (EN)
Sharia registers are the most leading among the sources used in historical studies which include social, economic, political, legal and cultural characteristics of the period. In this study, the registry of Sharia dated 1732 and numbered 538 was examined. Together with belongs to the Karahisar-ı Sahib banner, this book is also important due to the fact that it consists of documents which generally concern the Ottoman State have etc. issues tax, buying-selling affairs, mariage-divorce, inheritance, alimony, judicial cases. The book contains a total 388 documents. These documents have been transcribed and evaluated individually,the thesis consists of three chapters:evaluation,transcription and index except the introduction part. With this study,we have tried to shed light on other researches about Afyonkarahisar and the Ottoman State. Key Words: Karahisar-ı Sâhib, Sharia Registry, Afyonkarahisar, Ottoman State
