Abstract (EN)
This study has been prepared as a thesis of Master's degree in Yıldız Technical NaturalScience Institute, Civil Engineering Faculty, Coastal and Port Engineering Program. As part of wave impact\effect research, datas of Sile Meterology Station between 1986-2006years were taken. By preparing wave statistics, characteristics of waves that is produced bywind has been calculated. Besides this, wind and wave statistics has been prepared by usingwave chart for Agva region in the scope of NATO Tu-Waves and according to this chart, characteristics of waves has been put out. In addition to these, Wheather in the Blacsea "I"Region analysis in the scope of Kilyos Campus Project of Bogazici University has been usedto evaluate and verify other two datas. As result of these three datas, amount of substancemovement along the coastline has been measured and interpretted. The evolution that is founded on geological and geomorphological basis developed as a resultof a synthesis that occured through wave-flow mechanis and solid-substance-movement. Bythe examination of satellite views taken in different dates and influence of plants, the studycame to an end. Keywords: Ağva, beach, evolution, geology, geomorphology, coastal engineering, uzaktanalgılama, climate.x
