Abstract (EN)
Ahilik, apprentice, kethüda, qualified worker, ahi father Although the origin of Ahilik extends to far history, it was a trade organization founded by Ahi Evren in the 1 3th century. Ahi Evren was a Turkmen scholar who moved from Hoy county of Azerbaijan to Anatolia and he lived in Konya, Kayseri and Kırşehir. Ahilik was a training association of apprentice, pupil and qualified workman at every aspect. The apprentice and pupil of Ahi got professional education in day times while they got education of morals at nights. Ahis were in a complete solidarity at professional and social aspects. They have established social security associations named as middle boxes. In Anatolia, the wife of Ahi Evren Fatma Bacı has founded the first woman organization in the world named as Bacıyan-ı Rum. The main reason causing Ahilik was the necessity for competition against Bizans traders by better production in organization after the migration from Middle Asia to Anatolia because of the Mogol invasion. Ahilik that was in power in Anatolia, Kırım and Balkan for many centuries began to weaken and vanished because of the cheap goods in high amount which entered Anatolia from Europe in the 1 7th century
