Ahmed Hamdi Bey's work title Medhal-i İnşâ (Review-text)

This study is about the analysis and transcription of Ahmet Hamdi Şirvani's Medhal-i İnşa work. In this work, introducing the art of construction and Medhal-i Inşa's full transcription are aimed. This work is consist of two chapters, except introduction part and conclusion part. In the introduction part, information about the construction is given and its importance in Arabic, Persian and Turkish literature has been specified. Ahmet Hamdi Şirvani's life and works are included and each of his works is mentioned briefly. In the first part, the work named Medhal-i İnşa has been examined in terms of form and content and the content of this work is summarized in today's turkish language. Especially, the information Ahmet Hamdi's revealed about the art of construction and the paragraphs in which he talked about the types of letters were tried to be explained. And the second part of the study, the transcription alphabet and the transcription text of the work are given. The information and findings obtained are presented in conclusion part. The works used and cited in the study are given with their full name tags in the bibliography and the registry information about Ahmet Hamdi's life and Medhal-i Inşa's copy work were put at the end of the this work.
