The words which are used in the works of a poet or a writer shows us their owners? style of looking into the life and writing style..The words that are used in Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar `s novels and poems were analyzed and they were published in some magazines. But there is no knowledge about the language he used in his scientific works . `What were the words and word groups that Tanpınar used in his literary studies? How often did he use them?? These questions are the basic matters of this study. Also this study has the goal of specifying the frequency of using words and word groups in his work of `Articles about literarure?. In our study, we tried to exhibit the language that Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar used in his articles. We started by giving information about the life and works of this important literary man. We gave the examples of the word groups by searching the book of `Articles about Literature.? Secondly we composed an index. In this index we gave which word is repeated in which page and how many times. At the end of our study on the purpose of finding easily in which parts of the book that a word is used we found a copy of `Articles about Literature?. Finally we aimed to give a statistic table of the numbers of the words used in the word groups and reach a concrete result. Keywords: Word, Word Groups, List
