In this study, important elements in the evolution of the forms of the strip bentwood chairs that used and still in use in Turkey have examined. For this purpose, the cultural and technological background has evaluated. General terms about the bentwood furniture have explained in the first period of the study. In this part, the way of creating bentwood forms has mentioned. Cultural and technological parameters mentioned that lead to the evolution of bentwood chairs of Turkey and of the world. The current situation has studied to explain by acquired data with document analysis and face-to-face interviews with companies led the sector. The study shows that the creative bentwood chairs design can be possible with more advanced technical facilities, enterprising decision maker that qualified about the material, the tendency of consumers to different products.
