Abstract (EN)
In this study, holds an important place in the construction industry would like to increase the strength of pine wood combustion. To accomplish our goal in this study produced by the Institute of Boron and Boron Wood called "disodium Pentaborat Decahydrate" (NA2-5B2O3-10H2O), the compound used. For this purpose, pine wood samples prepared in accordance with the principles of ASTM D 358 "Disodium Pentaborat Decahydrate" (Na2-5B2O3-10H2O) compound with 5% - 10% - 15% in three separate solution was prepared by impregnation. Impregnation as a very short time period (3 minutes), short-term (10 minutes), medium term (2 hours), long-term (1 day) and very long-term (1 week) was chosen to be 5 different time. Impregnation method was chosen as a simple dipping method. The samples impregnated according to ASTM E 160-50 combustion test results were examined by burning device. As a result, the amount of material remaining after fire combustion losses analysis and solution density with increasing time of impregnating a significant increase in the amount of material remaining after combustion were determined. Very short-term (3 min) 5% solution during impregnation intensity by 10% the amount of material remaining after combustion takes place in a very long-term (1 week), impregnation time and the amount of material remaining after combustion a density of 15% to 70% in solution had occurred. Frequently used in the construction industry to make it resistant to combustion pine wood, "Disodium Pentaborat ekahidrat" (Na2-5B2O3-10H2O) compound was impregnated with 15% solution is recommended for 1 week.
