Abstract (EN)

Today, the application of wooden materials in building construction is redefined with new technological possibilities and the limited usage of these materials, due to their nature, are eliminated by production and usage of the engineered wooden products. In this study, the application potentials of wooden panel components in building construction and tile parte of these techniques which are open to development are examined. For this purpose, the natural, engineered and prefabricated wooden products, which are obtained from the combination of natural and engineered wooden elements, are defined with their main specifications. Wooden prefabricated systems and timber frame constructing systems are investigated with these three types of wooden materials. T.G YÜKSEKÖ?RETİM KURÜLIIV The buildings which are constructed with wooden prefabricated panel component systems are light massed buildings. Because of this property, their heat, humidity storage capacities and heat delay capacities are lower than other buildings. However, the high heat conservation property makes the system effectively usable in house construction, as these type of buildings are used in certain periods in a daytime and which is aimed to increase the internal environment temperature in a short period for these type of buildings. Also wooden panel components have high average sound insulation value, they can manufactured in big dimensions and they are easy to fitting and disassemble, therefore they have wide application possibilities in building internal places. In the scope of this study, for the aim of application possibilities of wooden panel systems in building construction and interior partitions, the optimum performance criterias of wall components are found out and these criterias are studied in respect of practisizing.
