Özet (EN)

In this study, Hellenistic pottery recovered from the Aigai Bouleuterion were evaluated. Almost all pottery groups and wares had been used during the 4th century BC and the 1st century BC are represented within the scope of the thesis. The purpose, methodology and scope of the study are given in the introduction part. In order to be evaluating the pottery with its context, the architectural units and stratas where pottery obtained are introduced in the second part of the thesis. In the third part, pottery are evaluated and dated by drawing analogies. In the fourth chapter, the data acquired from the study of pottery are interpreted. There is an clear influence of Pergamon, Attic and Kyme production on the Hellenistic pottery had been used in the city during the period. Also resemblance with Western Anatolian settlements observed. The finds suggest that Attic pottery imitations could have been produced in Aigai bring new arguments. It is understood that the Old Bouleuterion was built at the end of the 4th century BC/early 3rd century BC, and the New Bouleuterion at the early years of the second half of the 2nd century BC. It was concluded that the Old Bouleuterion has a renovation phase possibly affected the pavement of the building in the 3rd century/early 2nd century BC, and that the New Bouleuterion's eastern part was likely functioned as a prytaneion until the beginning of the 1st century BC.
