The effect of family medicine to client/patient satisfaction

In recent years, like in everysector there is a change in health sector. This change is not only intechnological means but also the management of health institutions likecompanies is on the agenda. Family Medicine is one of those changes. Inthat practice individuals have the right to have and identify health servicethey want within the limits of authority.With this research, patients? service satisfaction in Düzce city FamilyMedicine Center is analyzed and the aim was to define the effect of patientfactors and practitioner qualities to patient satisfaction. For this purpose, in 7Family Medicine Center under research in Düzce city, family practitioners? 25patients who accepted to join the questionnaire were selected randomly andface-to-face questionnaires were made to 850 patients. Furthermore, in orderto analyze the effect of the qualities of family practitioners on patientsatisfaction, the demographic informations of family practitioners in 7 FamilyMedicine Centers are collected in a form. Patients? doctors are definedfollowing to the patient questionnaire form and practitioners? demographicinformation forms.In this research, the satisfaction is analyzed in six dimensions and inconclusion, the deduction is made as patient satisfaction is effected bypatient factors and practitioner qualities to whom they are registered.Key Words: Family Medicine Use, patient satisfaction, health services,
