Abstract (EN)
This thesis aims to thoroughly investigate the relationships between family communication patterns, self-sabotaging behavior, and self-esteem concepts on the quality of romantic relationships. Data were collected through a survey conducted among young adults aged 18-45. The obtained data were collected online, and 352 individuals participated in the study. While analyzing the data, first normality analysis, reliability analysis of the scales and then hypothesis tests were applied. No direct relationship was found between family communication model and the quality of romantic relationships. The implications of this thesis emphasize the importance of individuals focusing on personal development to enhance the quality of their relationships. The findings could provide a valuable roadmap for individuals, therapists, and counselors seeking to understand and improve the quality of romantic relationships.
