The relationship between family life satisfaction and child life quality

In this survey, it was aimed to determine the relationship between the family life satisfaction of the parents and the quality of life of children. The study consisted of children aged 4-5-6 (n=194) attending primary school's kindergarten and kindergarten and their parents. The study data were collected using three different measurement instruments: "Family Life Satisfaction Scale, Kid-KINDL Quality of Life Parental Scale and Kid-Kındl Child Scalev(4-6 years). Family Life Satifaction Scale was used to determine perceived life satisfaction of parents. The Kid- KINDL Quality of Life Scale was used receive parental notifications of children's quality of life. Kiddy-KINDL 4-6 year-old child form was used to determine their own quality of life perceptions. The responses were coded and transferred to the statical program. Depending on the research questions, descriptive statistics such as frequency and percentage were made and perarson correlation, t test and anova were used. According to the findings of the study, family life satisfaction and quality of life of participants were above average. In addition, there was no statistically significant relationship between family life satisfaction and quality of life. In addition, it was found that there was no statically significant difference in family satisfaction according to socio demographic variables such as educational level, working status, age of the parents, number of children of the family, age of the children and average income of the family. Another result is that children's quality of life reports are higher than adults.
