Abstract (EN)

A family is the smallest unit in society in which there are kinship relations between husband Dec wife, children and siblings, based on marriage or blood ties. At the same time, the family is an institution in which all the economic, educational, social and political characteristics of societies are provided for cultural transmission. The preservation of these characteristics of the family constitutes the continuation of a strong and healthy society. Experiencing modernization, urbanization and industrialization has also caused changes in the family institution. There have been many changes in the family, such as the transition from an extended family to a single-parent family, the decrease in domestic communication, the change in the domestic economic order, the decrease in marriage rates, and divorce. Changes in the family cause the continuity of the family institution to deteriorate. The deterioration of the institution of the family and the inability to ensure its continuity prevent problems in the transfer of cultural norms, customs, traditions and customs to future generations and the formation of strong societies. Recently, there has been a decrease in the formation of marriage union with the increase in divorce rates. For this reason, it is important to work on the protection of the family institution and to take preventive and protective measures. This study is evaluated in national and international legislation aimed at ensuring family protection and continuity. At the same time, family-related actors are included and suggestions are made for the protection and continuity of the family.
