Abstract (EN)
This thesis on biography and works of Tarık Zafer Tunaya consists of 3 chapters. In the first chapter, his biography is examined. This chapter includes his political relation networks since his political relation networks since his early ages along with his career as an academic and a scientist. In the second chapter, his intellectual journey which started during graduate and doctorate and this journey's reflections on his works are discussed through his works in this context. In the third chapter, his interpretation of Turkish modernization is discussed through analyzing impact of developments in Turkey and all around the world on his way of thinking.
