Academic evaluation and quality improvement (ADEK) according to the views of lecturer assessment of the scope of the faculty of education

To determine the applicability of accreditation system in faculties of education, personal information form and accreditation perception scale have been used to collect data from instructors at seven different universities that are Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Education, Eskisehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Education, Hacettepe University Faculty of Education, Trakya University Faculty of Education, Ataturk University Faculty of Education, Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Faculty of Science and Letters and Istanbul University Faculty of Education of Hasan Ali Yücel which are located in the cities of Çanakkale, Eskişehir, Ankara, Trakya, Erzurum and Istanbul. 167 instructors have participated in the research. According to findings obtained within the scope of determining the main purpose of the research, it has been seen that there have been significant difference in terms of titles, experience, ages, average classroom size to which they teach, management tasks, and their state of considering themselves as conscious about accreditation. For the case in practice, there is a difference between the perceptions of instructors about the way they apply accreditation standards and their title, experience, age, average classroom size to which they teach, management task, and their state of considering themselves as conscious about accreditation.
