There was no significant difference in the NPI total score and its sub-dimensions according to the administrative task, income level and birth order in the family (p> 0.05). It was obtained that there is a weak relationship at different levels between NPI and workaholism scale subdimensions (p <0.05). It was also found that there is no relationship entitlement and exploitativeness subdimensions of NPI and compulsive working subdimension of workaholism (p> 0.05). According to the marital status, there is a significant difference (p <0.05) between the academicians' workaholism characteristics. Finally, it is concluded that there is positively a weak relationship between the workaholism and the narcissistic personality traits. In this context, the study consists of three parts.
