Abstract (EN)

Job satisfaction is to express attitude which person have feelings for their work. A higher job satisfaction lead to enhance productivity level thereby increasing person's motivation. The aim of this study is to be examined for job satisfaction concept in terms of academicians in education sector. For this purpose, a field study based on survey was performed on total 182 academicians working in Bayburt University in 2013-2014 education period. In the research, academicians job satisfaciton levels was revealed, and then the alternative hypotheses were suggested to determine wheter academicians job satisfaciton levels differentiate with reference to their demographical factors (gender, age, marital status, position and seniority). It is utilized from Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale, which is a scale proved its validity and realibility to measure academicians job satisfaction levels. According to the findings of the research, participants' job satisfaction is seen to be at high level. Howewer, it is exhibited that participants' job satisfaciton have significant discperancy in the sense of marital status, duty term and academic title of demographical variables considered in the study while they don't have statistically significant differences in gender and age variables.
