Abstract (EN)
The aim of the study is to investigate whether the stress sources and general self-efficacy beliefs of academicians differ according to demographic variables. In addition, another question that the research seeks to answer is to examine the relationship between stress sources and self-efficacy. The universe of the study consists of academicians who are teaching at Celal Bayar University in 2018-2019 academic year. The thesis is limited to the academic staff of Celal Bayar University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Science and Letters and Engineering Faculties in the 2018-2019 academic year. The questionnaire technique was used as a data collection technique and distributed to 250 academicians. The sample of the study is 183 people whose questionnaires are valid. Significant relationships were found between stress sources and self-efficacy. A significant and negative relationship was found between the sub-dimensions of the self-efficacy sub-dimension and the stress sources that form the functional environment and the general environment. In other words, it is seen that individuals who do not give up are less affected by stress factors when they encounter difficulties related to their work.
