Reflection of the metals nearby the Akdağmadeni (Yozgat) Pb - Zn deposits to plants

Study area is located Karapir village, Akdagmadeni, Yozgat. Study area hosts Akdagmadeni Pb/Zn deposits. Regionally, study area is in Akdag Massive which is a part of Kirsehir Massive. Study area geologically lies within metamorphic and igneous rocks. There are 30 plant samples and 30 soil samples have been collected from the study area within 2 different plants.High concentrates of Pb, Zn, Ag, Cd and Cu are noticed near the Pb-Zn deposit. These elements show strong correlations.When we have a look at the root, branch, leaf and soils of Astragalus pycnocephalus fisher have been collected from different locations, elements generally (except Au, P, Ti, Te, Cs, Ge, Nb, Rb, Ta and Ce) show similar distribution. Branch-root values of Mo, Cr, K, Se, Te, Ga, Cs, Ge, Sn, In and Li; root-soil values of Cu; leaf-soil values of As; are higher than the other values and show parallel distribution.Root-branch-leaf-flower and soil values of Verbascum euphraticum L. have been collected from the study area, Pb, Zn, Ni, Co, Mn, Sr, Bi and Cs elements generally show similar distribution. Since root-branch and flower values of Cu, Pb, Zn, Ni and Sr are parallel to each other and higher than the others, values of Bi, Cr, Se, Te, Rb, Nb, Sn and Zr are lower than the other values.
