Role of NATO in the Mediterranean Sea security: Active Endeavour Operation

Seas located an important position on trade, community, and transportation throughout history, this role has been increasing day to day on 21. Century. New technology advantages and new products have opened the world's door to new Projects on the seas. This dissertation is the investigate maritime security on the developing system and purposed to open ways about this discipline. Turkey which is the 3 sides of surrounded by the sea a country so maritime security and investigations have to be important which, therefore, this dissertation will blend to maritime security with a new perception. This dissertation has investigated of NATO's position and operation in the Mediterranean Sea. Some research about the Mediterranean sea's position on the Cold war and future importance has learned. In this zone, Some of the organization for economic co-operation and development like; Mediterranean cooperation organization, Barcelona convention and Istanbul cooperation initiative has investigated. NATO's conduct about Mediterranean'findings learned and active endeavor operation probed. Active Endeavour operation'strategic move for terrorism, smuggling, and migrant crisis in the Mediterranean have investigated. At the same time, NATO's position and operations have investigated and report of these analyses performed at the end of the dissertation.
