Abstract (EN)

In this study; smart antennas in which communication belt width can be usedefficiently is referred. In the second part; basic antenna parameters are givenand essential details are put forward about the issue. In the third part; Maxwellequation which is the basis of the voice, video, data and etc.is mentioned and thesolutions are given. Forth part emphasizes the introduction of the smartantennas and all the details about smart antennas including the kinds of theantennas are referred. After; system elements (buyer-donor) of the smartantennas are recounted briefly. In addition to these; the base of series, linearantenna series and planar antennas series are told and institutionalism modelsare proposed for the latest antennas series. In the fiveth part; the meaning ofray shaping and space percolating are mentioned and the calculation of weightvectors are done. Furthermore; some of the ray shaping algorithms andcalculation methods are emphasized. Using these algorithms, the examples givenbefore are presented. In the last part; direction of arrival estimation that coversthe title of this study is given including the main aspects of the subject and thekinds of algorithms which are used for them and the possibility of thealgorithms using the examples are given. Finally; the structure of Musicalgorithm is mentioned and essential mathematical solutions are emphasized.Acquired formulas are used in the Matlab assimilation and written program isgiven in annex 1. For the assimilations which are done; various parameters areused and for the different values of these parameters; prediction spectrums andmain values graphics are drawn. All results are evaluated specifically.
