Abstract (EN)
Introduction and Aim: Diagnosing and classifying pressure ınjury is the top priority step in timely management of pressure ınjury in order to take appropriate and effective interventions. In this study, it was aimed to develop an intelligent pressure injury classification system and to examine the experiences of nurses using the system. Material and Method: In the research, the intelligent pressure injury classification system was developed first, and the phenomenological design, which is a qualitative research method, was used to examine the experiences of the nurses using the system. The sample group of the research consisted of 19 volunteer nurses working in the intensive care unit of a training and research hospital. The data were obtained through individual interviews on the online interview platform using the individual descriptive characteristics form, the attitudes towards Technology Scale and the semi-structured interview form. In the analysis of the data, support was received from the MAXQDA Analytics Pro2020 program. Results: As a result of the thematic analysis, three main themes were determined as "opinions about the intelligent pressure injury classification system", "using the intelligent pressure injury classification system" and "recommendations about the intelligent pressure injury classification system". Conclusion: In the study, it was determined that nurses mostly used positive expressions for the intelligent pressure injury classification system. However, the nurses made some suggestions about the system.
